Two extracts from this interview are now available for viewing. The first extract highlights that although the ancestral domain law has strenghthened land rights for some indigenous groups to a certain extent, enormous challenges remain in developing a mining industry that generates long term and meaningful development for indigenous peoples in the Philippines. The second focuses on what needs to happen to facilitate more equitable and open negotiation processes between mining companies and indigenous groups in the Philippines context.
