From
15 to 22 January 2010, ESSC and AFN staff are organizing a six-day
guided experience in the town of Maribojoc in Bohol to facilitate a
contextualized reflection. The group is composed of nine youth visitors
from Australia with ages ranging from 19-27 years old, with Fr. Edward
Dooley SJ from Australia and Fr. Pedro Walpole SJ from Mindanao.
Contributing to the process are local organizers from Bohol.
The
aim of MAGiS Circle is a deepening: to go beyond being ‘ religious', to
look at and question society, and asking questions that help place our
faith securely in everyday living. MAGiS Circle is key in further
developing the social experience. And with a level of social analysis,
it will help integrate the heart-felt experience of the social context
with our developing personal skills and understanding (head centered
knowledge) into a more focused social engagement wherever we are.
